Haha this is a funny story. First, i saw this video on ESPN Sportscenter Asia and then i quickly searched for this video in YouTube to be downloaded. Then i checked out his player in FIFA 08 game, expecting to see his "Long Shots" and "Shot Power" attributes to be high but disappointingly they were very low, unlike the real life Varela's talents in shooting.
Later my friend asked me to have a game online. He chose Barcelona and at that moment i thought of having fun using the very weak RCD Mallorca (Barcelona is a 4 1/2-Stars team while Mallorca is only a 3-Stars team!) because of this video haha! I really wanted to try if i can do that in the game. Shockingly, after a few tries, i finally managed to pull off a 1-timer long shot and the ball went straight to the top right corner of the net! Wahahaha and the player was none other than Varela himself!!! I can say the goal was like 90% similar to the real video except my in-game Varela was standing near to the mid and the distance is like a few feets nearer. Anyway, it was a freaking nice goal and it was a waste that i can't save a replay as online play doesn't allow it.
And guess what...RCD Mallorca actually WON the superstars loaded team Barcelona!!! Wakakaka XD
